Blue Crush is not a new film to my viewing schedule. I mention the film from time to time and I thought it would be nice to include it in the line-up of movies reviewed. I would like to apologize up front for being a typical male and enjoying this film. I also apologize for all the overt and obvious sexism in the following review.

Blue Crush (2002)
PG-13, Film, 104 Minutes
Drama, Romance, Sports
Dir: John Stockwell

The Synopsis: Hot young girls in bikinis frolic in the Pacific Ocean and other stuff happens.

The Pro:

Two of Geex favorite actresses Kate Bosworth and Michelle Rodriguez don bikinis.

The Con:

This is not a porn.

The Procon:

Typical of a surf movie, the cinematography is fantastic. However, all the pretty waves distract from Kate Bosworth and Michelle Rodrigues.

The Verdict:

Would I recommend this movie? Yes. It is one of the top films ever made as long as you don’t mind watching it in fast forward and without the sound.
